ADVANTAGE 

1. Can be started and  stopped  quickly. 

2. Control  is easy 

3.occupies less space. 

4.capital  cost is less.

5.Ratio of  weight  power us less.

6.The  lubricating  system is  simple. 

7.Less number  of operating  staff is needed. 

DISADVANTAGED 

1.The  compressor  should be started well before starting  the plants. 

2.Overall efficiency less.

3.The  life decrease when the  temperature  of  the  combustion  chamber  is high.
