3. Maintenance  costs of solar energy  power  plants  less.

4. There are no pollution  of the atmosphere. 

5.Solar power  plants  can be installed at the  place where  electrical  energy  cannot be supplied by other  means.

DISADVANTAGES 

  1. Initial  cost is  high.

2. It requires  large  space. 

3. The  plant can be  installed  only at the place where  the sunlight is  available  throughout the year. 

4. It is necessary to use the  energy storage  device as the  solar energy is  not available  during  night  period.
